NIMH Educational Brain Presentation

,

Working with ECU Communications in the Washington, DC area, Clearly Presentable provided all the the actionscripting and advanced animation expertise for Brain Basics, the National Institute of Mental Health’s online medical presentation about brain anatomy and health, created for the average citizen. With provided source material in hand, which included layout and custom illustrations, Susan Preston provided a polished application complete with section 508 compliant voice overs and subtitles along with a large set of anatomical animations.

This project led to a subsequent flash presentation authored for medical students which focused on pharmaceutical research for a possible treatment for schizophrenia. Susan is especially proud of her work with ECU and NIMH, providing animation and flash support for medical research that will hopefully lead to the relief for so many who suffer from mental illness.
